Proteomics platforms meeting: Roadmap for proteomics in FranceWorkshop lead by: Myriam Ferro Context: Annual meeting of Proteomics platforms organized by ProFI (Proteomics French Infrastructure) Date and location: Monday, september 16, 2019 at 14:00. Welcome of the participants from 13:30 (Amphitheater Grünewald, IPHC, Building 25, see campus map here). Contact for registration: Myriam Ferro
Youth Club: Annual meeting for both Youth ClubsWorkshop lead by: Youth club managers: CJSFEAP and CJSM Targeted audience: These meetings are open to all members of any of the Youth Clubs. Context: This meeting is an opportunity to present your work and share with other young researchers. A call for presentations will be sent to you by your respective Youth Club. Each Club will select three 15-minute oral presentations (followed by questions). On all six presentations, the most appreciated by the participants will be selected for a talk during the congress. Please contact your Youth Club for more information about this meeting. Date and location: Monday, september 16, 2019 morning (Auditorium GRUNEWALD, IPHC, Building 25, see campus map here). http://cjsfeap.free.fr/ http://www.cjsm.sfsm.fr/ Contacts for registration: CJSFEAP and CJSM
Workshop 1 : FT-ICR and high resolution mass spectrometry [FULLY BOOKED]
Workshop lead by: Marc-André DELSUC Targeted audience and prerequisites: The workshop is open to all people interested in the specific aspects of FT-ICR mass spectrometry, or who intend to apply for time in the French TGE, or the European infrastructure network. Formation's goal: Understand FTICR specificity Skills that should be acquired during the formation :
Duration: 3 hours Date and location: Monday, september 16, 2019 at 14:00 (room MONDRIAN, IPHC, Building 25, see campus map here). Contact for registration: Marc-André DELSUC Registration is free but mandatory, workshop is limited to 40 participants.
Workshop 2 : Mass spectrometry for structural analysis : Combination of native mass spectrometry (native MS), crosslink (Xlink) and Hydrogen-deuterium exchange (HDX) [FULLY BOOKED]Workshop lead by: Oscar HERNANDEZ-ALBA (LSMBO, Strasbourg) and Noelle POTIER (LSMIS, Strasbourg) Targeted audience and prerequisites: The workshop will be available for people interested in mass spectrometry for characterization of biological systems. Any previous expertise or knowledge in the field is not required to attend the workshop. Formation's goal: Illustrate the strength and limitations of structural mass spectrometry for the characterization of non-covalent biological complexes. What structural information can be extracted from MS data ? Introduction to the fundamentals and how to solve classical problems related with sample preparation, instrument tuning, data analysis and interpretation, associated with each individual technique will be discussed in detail. All the information will be supported with practical examples to show the benefits of these approaches:
Duration: 3 hours Date and location: Monday, september 16, 2019 at 14:00 (Auditorium FERMI, ECPM, Building 100, see campus map here). Contacts for registration: Oscar HERNANDEZ-ALBA and Noelle POTIER Registration is free but mandatory, workshop is limited to 40 participants.
Workshop 3 : Multi–omics data integration [FULLY BOOKED]
Workshop lead by: Delphine PFLIEGER and Christophe BATTAIL Targeted audience and prerequisites: engineer, student or researcher working with omics analyses (proteomics, genomics, metabolomics), biologists, bioinformaticians. Formation's goal: Being able to formulate precise questions requiring the integration of omics data ; having an overview of the implementation of omic analyses in the research contexts described ; introduction to bioinformatic strategies to answer questions asked. Skills that should be acquired during the formation : Case study knowledge illustrating the integration of (i) large scale genomic and proteomic data and (ii) proteomic, genomic and metabolomic data around histones. Knowledge of the implementation of the project at the experimental and bioinformatic level, and the difficulties and risks that may be encountered. Duration: 3 hours Date and location: Monday, september 16, 2019 at 14:00 (Auditorium LAMBLA, ECPM, Building 100, see campus map here). Contacts for registration: Delphine PFLIEGER and Christophe BATTAIL Registration is free but mandatory, workshop is limited to 40 participants. |
